Spotter Parachute System


Description

Widely used by the USAF CCT and PJ’s, the Spotter Parachute system is used to determine wind drift. A variant of the J-1 wind drift parachute.(thumbnail image shown with optional water activated flotation system).

The spotter parachute consists of three major components; the 12′ canopy, deployment bag with static line and weights.  The base weight is 17 lbs with 2 and 1 pound plates available.  The system can also be equipped with a optional water activated flotation to recover the system for water operations.
